Enamel Museum


The Enamel Association is planning on creating an Enamel Museum in conjunction with the Hungarian Culture Foundation
who will also provide the space to be located in the Castle district of Budapest.

The planned museum would like to put on display the history, technique, and evolution of the art of fire enameling
in Hungary and throughout the world.

Items to be displayed will include pieces from everyday use, industry and industrial arts.

Also on display will be a replica of the Sacred Crown of Hungary.

The Enamel Association will collect and secure all items until the museum is operational.

György M. Gubán enamel artist has donated one of his work's incomings remarkable part deriving from the auction and purchase it had been sold, called WAKE UP. The proceeds is meant to provide a helping hand in the foundation of the museum.

Those would be owners of these works of art will have their name carved in on a marble pluck at the main entrance
of the museum.
